Mt. Airy ArtsFest is being held at the picturesque

We are SO EXCITED for Mt. Airy ArtsFest! Here’s what you will experience:
ART MARKET featuring over 60 artist vendors selling hand-made, unique goods, including paintings, prints, photography, stained glass, sculpture, jewelry… and eight youth artists!
PAINT OUR SCULPTURE! The Mt. Airy Arts Alliance was awarded a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council to create a temporary public art piece. Come help us create it! Later in the evening, it will be lit on Main Street.
MUSICAL PERFORMANCES hosted by local entrepreneur, DJ HP:
10am: The Aloha Boys. Kanikapila, an acoustic down-home, backyard-style Hawai’ian music, including everything from traditional to contemporary songs.
11am: Park Valley. Locally based duet with acoustic pop/rock vibes.
Noon: American School of Inspiration. Based in Damascus, American School of Inspiration will be performing a unique dance, with Hawaiian and African styles intertwined.
12:30pm: The Dirty Middle. Lead by singer Adrienne Smith, dubbed by Frederick News Post as “one of the best voices in Frederick County,” will fill your ears with some pop-blues tunes.
1:45pm: Samuel Powers. Samuel Powers is a band living in the 90’s who will you bring a lively, energetic performance that’s guaranteed to take you back to your youth!
LITTLE LUAU: Lots of entertainment for kids, including a Bubble Performance, The Beach, Carroll County Public Libraries’ Bookmobile & Photo Booth, and more!
FREE FIGURE DRAWING: Have you wanted to try figure drawing? We are offering a FREE session featuring professional model Shadiyah Curione from 11am to 2pm adjacent to the stage. Bring your own supplies and a chair and draw for as long as you’d like!
Wanderly Wagon: Gourmet, big beef hotdogs with a variety of unique toppings, a line of delicious salads, and shaved ice with all natural syrups.
Taco Bar: Tacos, obvs! But not just any tacos… tacos with some of the best Yelp ratings in our state!
Mike’s Gelato: There might be a lot of ice cream places in Mt. Airy, but no GELATO! Yum!
